For over 20 years, Inland Control & Services Inc. has offered dependable and user-friendly building control solutions for commercial, government, and retail buildings, as well as schools, universities, hospitals, airports, and more. Our in-house graphic design team works with the client to provide modern and easy-to-use interfaces for clients to control, monitor, and visualize their building’s systems, schedules, alarms, and more.

We have installed complete chiller systems at Williams Lake Courthouse and Prince George Regional Correctional Centre. We have installed Liebert A/C systems for critical network systems at the University Hospital of Northern BC and the College of New Caledonia among others. Our journeymen refrigeration mechanics are factory certified by Liebert to perform startups of their critical equipment. If installations are performed by other contractors, Liebert contacts us directly to perform the certified start-ups in our area. Additional to CNC’s network center, we have installed their new walk-in coolers/freezer and split A/C systems.

Inland Control & Services Inc. benefits from a wide range of in-house expertise consisting of BCIT graduate technologists, building systems technicians, journeymen, and apprentice electricians, gas fitters, HVAC and Refrigeration technicians, licensed security tradesmen as well as computer science majors and staff with I.T. experience. System Drawings

Inland Control & Services has a skilled and dedicated engineering team that custom designs every system we install. System drawings and architecture show the customer what we installed and where it exists in the system/network, they are also an invaluable resource for us later on when upgrading a system as we can evaluate where we can insert new controllers, new IO expanders, etc.

System Drawings show where exactly in each individual system our DDC parts are located, as well as provide the client a reliable resource when troubleshooting a system.

Architecture

Using architecture drawings we are able to show the exact layout of the buildings DDC network, and hierarchy of controllers in a daisy chain. Through architecture drawings, not only are we able to provide the client with network information such as IP address, gateway and netmasks, they also show all DDC controller numbers and thermostat room locations as well as any integration with existing networks.

Programming

Inland uses Delta Controls GCL+ language which provides the flexibility to design sequences of operation specifically tailored to the requirements of individual customers. It contains advanced functions designed specifically to be used with building automation systems including HVAC, Access, and Lighting Control. The GCL+ programming language allows for interaction between inputs and outputs on the controller, as well as inter-controller information handling. This allows for unlimited customization for clients using the power of Delta GCL+ and the BACnet protocol.

Graphics

Inland Control & Services has a dedicated in-house graphics team that makes energy management and building operation simple. We design powerful dashboard visualizations that will allow you to go from energy graphs to consumption reports with a single click.

We strive to create dashboards that are task-driven, that automatically provide operators with the information they need without them having to search for it, as well as allow for navigation from high level operational views to specific elements of the system simply and intuitively.

Integration

In a typical building, heating and cooling, lighting and security all operate independently, wasting energy and increasing maintenance. Integration involves connecting the various building systems through a common control interface. From one place you will be able to control everything that is happening in the building.

Integration of a Delta Access Control system with a Delta HVAC and Lighting system allows many additional control strategies to be implemented. When access is granted various lighting zones and/or HVAC zones can be automatically initiated. When armed the system can be set to unoccupied or a standby setting which provide further energy savings.

Our controllers are efficient, intelligent, and have been designed to run your building's Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems to their highest potential while maintaining your comfort and energy management needs. We work every day with our customers to fine-tune their equipment to meet the comfort expectations of individual tenants, offices, or entire campuses.

Access & Security

Inland Control & Services provides the access control solution you need to keep your buildings restricted and secure as required. Our complex software and programming language allows us to customize your access system to your liking. Our access controls can be seamlessly integrated into your existing BACnet network, whether it be HVAC, existing access, or lighting.

Inland Control & Services provides installation and maintenance of video surveillance systems. We are certified Panasonic dealers and provide cameras, software, and video data storage systems.
